Children
Children are always welcome in the worship service. We have a nursery available for children (birth – 2 years), drop off before church in our nursery which is located south of the sanctuary and adjacent to the playground. For school age children (ages 3 years – 6th grade) we have weekly Sunday School which starts after the "Just for Kids" time in the service. On Communion Sundays (usually the first Sunday of the month), children are invited to stay in the service with their families.
All of our Sunday school children participate in these various activities throughout the school year:
- Christmas pageant
- Palm Sunday procession
- Back to school water party
- Craft ministry to shut-ins
- End of the school year ice cream party
- Advent and Lenten craft days
- Montlure Traveling Camp in the summer with Orangewood Presbyterian Church.
